Shivalee Palace

We used many references to inspire the creation of the Grand Shivalee Palace Mandap. Notably, the Opera House in Monte Carlo and the wondrous architecture of Rajasthan. The matching balustrade backdrop and detail on the Mandap is entirely Indian, but the mandap arches connecting the pillars on the mandap were inspired by elements in the Opera House.

The Mandap consists of a variety of components that when put together evoke the majesty of opulent Rajput and Mughal palaces. The Shivalee Balustrade is based on traditional Jali designs used across Rajasthan and creates a truly stunning wedding stage for any faith wedding be it a Hindu, Sikh or Muslim wedding celebration.
